Veranda — Adler Deutsch Vineyard Estate
Featured in the February 2013 issue of Veranda is the recently revealed new estate home of Adler Deutsch Vineyard.
Wine Advocate Issue #209, October 2013
The ruby/plum/purple-colored 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon ADV Estate Reserve (98.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1.5% Petit Verdot) offers an attractive nose of cassis and flowers, a rich texture that builds incrementally, good purity, medium to full body and a long finish. There is a European-like vibrancy and energy to this wine as well as typical California ripeness and pure fruit. Impressive in a restrained, subtle manner, it should drink well for 12-15 years.
Wine Spectator Issue October 15, 2013
2010 Adler Deutsch Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. Engaging and complex, showing a smooth core of dark berry, black licorice and creamy mocha-tinged oak, with tobacco and cedar hints. Shows impressive grace and delicacy. Drink now through 2024.
Wine Spectator Issue April 30, 2013
2009 Adler Deutsch Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. A very enticing red, offering rich, firm dark berry, mocha, loamy earth and cigar box flavors. Shows great density, focus and persistence, ending with a long, full, tapered aftertaste, echoing espresso and dark chocolate. Drink now through 2024.
